hi

In the manual of my new DFI board, it says:
2T timing blablabla, is better, go enable it in bios if your CPU is cg (well, more or less :))

Now, I searched 2 hours and didn't find anything, I just don't know where I can enable this setting.

cpu-z says my cpu is rev. dh7-cg (I guess this means it is cg-rev.)

my specs:
A64 3200
DFI LanParty UT nF3 250Gb
2x200gb seagate
6800gt gainward
corsair 2x512 ram (CMX-3200)

I really hope someone can help me w/ this.
(actually it shouldn't be that difficult to find this in bios, but I really wasn't ablr to)

thx in advance

okay here's the deal with command 2T

you want to use it if you're trying to run high HTT's with double sided memory such as your 512 sticks....

if you're using 1 stick 1T should be fine but with two, you may need to lower it to 2T.

1T > 2T for mem bandwidth...

CG vs. C0
C0 didn't allow for 2T... CG allows for 2T

dunno why the manual says 2T is better cuz it's not

in the bios setting, where you see CPC or command per clock, disabling this will run your memory at 2T... this can be found under the memory options or Genie Bios settings or whatever it's called

thank you! (I knew it had something to do w/ cpc setting, and changed it to enabled. but my memory remained 1t (my logic was: 2t better than 1t, cpc enabled is better than disabled, so if cpc enabled != 2t then cpc has nothing to do with the story :))

thanks for increasing my knowledge :)
