DFI Lanparty UT 250gb with three sticks of ram?

I want to put three 512mb sticks of Ram in this mobo...

So far, it won't boot when I try that. I have agressive RAM timings with my Patriot Ram, but I tried setting to default with the three sticks.

Any tips?

Try reducing the RAM to 100MHz bus (DDR200) and see if it will cooperate now.

Would I have to run that way forever? Sounds pretty slow to me...

Probably, yeah. You might be able to wring DDR333 speeds out of it... what CPU core do you have, since the memory controller is on the CPU die?

Bigger picture: Crucial PC3200 1GB modules are $104 at Newegg. You want/need 1.5GB of RAM, drop one of those in there with one of your 512's and sell the other two, perhaps.
