DFI Lanparty UT 250gb cpu temp problems

I put together my dfi lanparty ut today and I was hitting 75c. I took it apart and put it back together and I get the same temp. The heat sink feels luke warm, not hot at all.
I put everything back into my Asus K8V system and Im back to 35c.
Could the bios be recording the wrong temps?
 
I was thinking that was the case. Like I said, I could touch the heat sink and it just felt a little warm....def not 140 degrees.

Maybe I will put it all back together again....
