Please, do not tell me you're thinking of getting the nForce3 S939/AGP Lanparty

What I'm getting :)

The best ram for this is OCZ Value VX, or if you want you can spend a bit more and go with some OCZ Gold VX. I don't think you need to spend alot for the memory, and most memory will work fine in that board if you don't plan on overclocking. I would go with the OCZ value VX, it works great in that board overclocked or not, and the price is decent for some great memory for that board.

I have the NF4 Ultra-D. It's not picky on RAM, but if you want to get the most out of it you will have to play with the BIOS to get the settings just right.

I use OCZ VX PC4000 RAM running it with 3.4v and my 3700+ San Diego at 240*11. Took a week or so to get it prime stable but now I'm very happy with it.

If you are into overclocking this is the board to get. If not it's still a very stable board.

Check this site out, it helped me out quite a bit.

Hope this helps.

No the Value still overclocks nicely, if you really want to push then sure go with the Gold, but I don't think the diference will be worth it.

Tell me what you think.

I think that looks great!!!! I have almost the same thing picked out right now, with the exception of the case, but that case is very nice!!!

What case+PSU are you using? For me the other option was Coolermaster centurion 5 blue with OCZ modstream 450W....but I think antec sonata II and the PSU that comes in it is good enough.

you'll want a 480watt psu, they'll give you a hassle on dfi-street if you run into problems, you can check my sig but i'm using mushkin blue c2 (bh5 utt) with the enermax 485w psu (which is fairly cheap, its under 100 bucks canadian after tax)

since you used ncix i'm assuming your canadian, icct and canadasys both sell the board for 170 so you can pricematch with ncix

i got better performance out of a new bios, you might want to flash it before you start playing around with memory settings
