To cut a long story short, I ordered a new GA-K8NXP-SLI motherboard 2 weeks ago, with a 2 week wait on orders... I bought an Enermax 535W PSU, a A64 3000+ CPU, and a Sparkle 6600GT in anticipation. :)

Today I found out that I have to order a new motherboard, as the Gigabyte one has been discontinued here... (Grr)

After doing some research it appears that the LANparty SLI-DR is a good board. The thing I want to know is whether it would be good for a non-overclocker. I'm looking for a board with all of its features, stability, and *longevity*... I'm looking to future-proof my computer with this board... :)

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have both the Dfi LANparty SLI-DR and the A8N-SLI Premium. I havent setup the asus board yet but from what I understand, the A8N-SLI Premium board is faster at stock speeds.. From those 2 boards I recomend the A8N-SLI Premium. The Dfi board is a Fantastic board but it is (from what I understand) more for extreme overclockers!!!!
