DFI Lanparty p45 + ESATA issue

If I unplug my enclosure I have to reboot in order for Windows 7 to see the drive when I reconnect it. Running the latest BIOS + all my drivers are up to date. AHCI's enabled in my BIOS, the enclosure's an Antec MX-1 if that makes any difference.

In Device Manager, with the drive connected and on, check Properties, then Policies. There are two choices - Optimize for Quick Removal, and Optimize for Performance. For on/off hot plugging, it should be for Quick Removal.
