I just had 2 quick questions with these boards.

What's the difference between NF4 Ultra-D and Ultra-DR

Are these boards really worth it? I love the socket 754 based board, its just insane, but will this match it in the s939 line?

It's not clear that an Ultra-DR even exists yet (the listing on the Newegg website may be a typo). On the DFI website, just three NF4 boards are listed, SLI-DR, SLI-D, and Ultra-D.

In addition to the 4 Silicon Image ATA ports on the SLI-DR, the SLI-DR also comes with UV cables and a FrontX panel. I believe the SLI-D also includes FrontX but not the UV cables, and the Ultra-D comes with neither.

The SLI-DR comes with a case carrying thing, frontx, a uv reactive cable sleeving kit, 4 extra SATA ports (done with a Silicon Image chip that allows for RAID 5) as the extra stuff.

Somewhere on DFI's site they list whats the difference between the normal -Ds and -DRs.

The Ultra DR exists, it's in the manual for my Ultra D

NO.

Why would you say no again? It looks well worth the money... maybe you can elaborate for me? Thanks

I'm not the one that said NO, but I will say that I would get this one instead, when it comes back in stock.

Hrm, why? The previous posts did say that the DR comes with so many extra "add-ons" that I just might have to go with the -DR model

Because the extras the Ultra-DR comes with do not matter to me in the least, especially for just $9 less than the full SLI (no mod needed) board.
