That link is dusty *cough* The NF2 boards run best when the FSB and ram are in synch, asynchronous mode results in substantial latency penalties. Also, the AGP/PCI being locked and the multipliers being unlocked allows you to set even a 266fsb CPU to the same speed as 400DDR ram for better performance.

Yes it is possible. I can do it on my Epox 8RDA+.

I agree with DaPunisher. Your RAM and cpu in synch usually performs better than running your cpu at a diff bus =)

My friend wants to see how far his Corsair XMS will go. He won't make any changes to his proc though (even if he changes his multi) as he's a wussy. In fact, I'm posting this question for him ;)
