DFI Lanparty NF4 SLI-DR - POST taking 5 minutes

I've had my machine for over 2 years now. For some reason though, it is now taking 4-5 minutes for the POST to complete. First thing I see is the identification of my X2 4400, but does not report back that it's 2 CPU's for close to 5 minutes. Then it whips through the memory, HD's, etc. with no problems.

The machine is still "working" as I am posting this with the same machine, but I am wondering if anyone else has witnessed this behavior and is there a solution for this problem?

Thanks for reading...

Update: I've tried reseating all components, and it still takes 5 mins to do a POST.

Disconnect everything except psu connections to the mobo, cpu, one stick of ram, and the video card. What happens? If it's still slow reset the cmos. If that doesn't help flash to the latest bios.

Bit the bullet and bought a replacement CPU/Mobo/RAM for my machine. Went with the E6750, GIGABYTE GA-P35C-DS3R ATX, and some PC2-8500 RAM from Kingston...

Thanks for the assistance John...
