I have some odd fan noise coming from what I believe is the circled one on the pic below.

I believe that is called the North bridge fan?

Anyways, I was hoping someone could verify the size fan I need. Checking Newegg it would look like this one would fit the bill but I'd like to make sure before I order it. My concern is the Graphics card presses right up against the existing fan so I don't want to order something too big.

edit:
This looks closer to what I have

No! Hold on!!!

What you want to do is the same fix MANY DFI overclockers did: remove and throw away that stock chipset cooler fan.

Replace it with exactly this EVERCOOL VC-RE TWINKLING VGA AND CHIPSET COOLER (DFI RECOMMENDED). Buy exactly that precise one, accept no substitute!

It comes with good thermal paste included.

It lowered chipset temps significantly on each of my 2 DFI motherboards.

DFI has RECOMMENDED this aftermarket chipset cooler, and this is the one you want to buy.

A good tutorial on how to easily install it is here. It's a download, not a stream.

Suggest you go into your user profile here on Anandtech and activate your ability to receive private messages, and also tell where you're located, as that will affect suggestions people give you on where to buy things close to you.

Welcome to the forums!
