Hello!
My thread will be about some jumpers on the motherboard that seems they can controll FSB or limit it, i don't know for sure, that is why i'm asking here.

DFI LANPARTY P35 T2R (version without the pipes)
intel core 2 quad Q6600 G0
4 GB DDR 2 1066 Kingston Hyperx 2x2gb
Antec NeoPower HE 550 PowerSupply
Raid 0 WD blue caviar 320gb x2

In the manual jumpers are called JP13, JP14, JP15
I have 3 options:
1 - setting will
allow the system to automatically run according to the CPU’s FSB
2 - FSB 1066
3 - FSB 1333

Q6600 has fsb 1066/266
I overclocked it to 3400ghz (fsb 425 x8 multiplyer)
Jumpers are now set to option 2 for FSB1066

1. Will there be any risk if i change the jumpers for 1333 FSB since the proccessor is now working with more than 1066 fsb anyway ?

2. Will i notice any difference in performance ? i do alot of copy, winrar, video editing and gaming

is it posible to allow more bandwidth transfer between northbridge and procesor and ram because of more FSB ?

Negligible risk, but if it is running fine where it's at, I would leave it.

If you run some benchmarks, you might see a little. Other than that, no.

i changed the jumpers to 1333 fsb
absolutely no difference
same temperature
same benchmark results
same fps in games

either nothing is pushing the transfer to what 425fsb can handle or these jumpers are useless :D

or 4gb of ram can't do enough data transfer for the curent fsb
