from the CD that came with the mobo, ive yet to be able to get the internet seen. ive installed that driver cd some 10 times now all to no avail. ive switched out ram and video cards thinking those were some problems as well from a previous post.

but does anyone know how to get the ethernet working on this kind of board? ive downloaded every single newest driver from dfi that i could but nothing works.

In control panel/system/hardware/device manager, check that the Network adaptors are enabled/installed/without any red or yellow signs.
If you can't see any:

In the BIOS, check that the 'peripherals' or at least the NIC is enabled.

Reboot, and, if you had to change the setting to enabled, then Windows will 'find' the new hardware and away you go.

Follow the instructions onscreen once win has loaded [if there are any]

Check in Device manager again

I have the DFI LanParty UT 250gb nf3 board too, and ran into the same problem with a driver error for the ethernet controller, and it seemed to be a problem with the current driver version from the DFI site. The Ethernet driver that came with the CD works just fine so far, allowing me access to network and internet.
