OK, first of all I'm a Mac to PC switcher so pardon my confusion. System Specs:

2.6 GHz P4 w/800mhz bus
DFI LAN Party mainboard
2x 512 PC3200 Corsair XMS
Radeon 9800
160 GB SATA HD
Pioneer 4X DVD-RW
52X CD-RW

The BIOS settings for the DFI board aren't as clear as other BIOS settings I've seen before. I am unable to OC beyond setting the FSB to 215 mhz yet I see all of these reviews saying the DFI board can do 280 or so... how on earth do they get it that high?! I went to 225mhz and it wouldn't boot, so I held the Insert key like the manual said and it loaded the defaults. Now the system won't OC AT ALL. If I set the FSB at 205 or 210, it will still only load at the stock 200 FSB and otherwise runs fine. Please help!

Hi ijesse,

Please send E-mail to tech@dfiweb.com. We'd like to send you an update BIOS for testing. Besides, please check the FAQ on www.dfi.com for LANParty PRO875. The SATA H/D needs to run on 100 MHz all the time. There are some tricky settings under the BIOS for overclocking. I think the OC experts in Anandtech can share their experience with you. I saw the article said they can over clock the FSB up to 280 MHz too.

Thanks

I'm having the same type of issues using P4 2.4c with 2x 512 PC3500C2 Corsair XMS, can't o/c past 255 stable but when I put in 2x 256 (generic memory) I can easily run stable at 275. Others have mentioned similar problems on other 865/875 boards not sure if this can be addressed in BIOS.

Are you Stanley?
I did send a BIOS to Stanley already this morning.
If you are not Stanley, please send E-mail to tech@dfiweb.com.
We'll send you a BIOS for OC as well.
Thanks

to overclock that high, make sure you have your memory setting in 5:4.
DFITechsupport, can you email me the overclocking bios too? I already sent you an email to the email address you listed above.

I sent out the BIOS for PRO875 on 6/14/03 to a couple of customers as they requested this morning. I wonder if you are the one. Please let me know if you didn't get it.
Thanks
