DFI bios update lock up

Hey
I was trying to update my BIOS for my DFI AK75-EC board from the latest bios on the website.
I used the ALT+F2 to get to bios update. The file name shows but if i hit enter on the keyboard nothing happens.
I CTRL+ALT+DEL out to get to a blinking cursor then do it again to restart the comp.....suggestions?
