Been awhile, so I wanted to ask if DF was still "sneakernet-able?" My wife now has a laptop with a mobile XP1500 that is not doing anything at the moment, but I don't yet have the means to connect it to the web.

Also, if the laptop is plugged into an outlet, is it bad to leave it running 24/7 on a DC project, like you can with a desktop?

DF is "sneakernet-able" , the first version of the phase II client had a bug that limited that amount of work that could be cached offline, but the bug has been corrected

i have run laptops at work for weeks 24/7 running DC projects with no ill effects, just make sure it is ventilated properly
