i am afraid they might be hording for a dump, but i know they have switched some resources to SoB

i hope we can squeak past them, howard said the following regarding stats/phase2 etc:

Currently I estimate we will 'go live' on the beta in early June, as soon as we can get some new hardware set up (mostly more disk space to hold more data, and a more powerful stats server to compute those movies faster).

The phase I stats will be saved, and (once we make an interface for it) be viewable along with 'current' stats. The 'default view' will show only stats from the start of phase II though, as will the default top 10. But since phase I will be saved, this can always be changed later, or customized based on personal preference. As for raw points awarded, we will try with the system currently implemented in the beta, as it seems to be fair.

WTG MMs and PODs

On a bright note, I found a P4 2.4 just beggin' to get sneakernetted. I'm not sure if I can really use it or not, but at least I'll get one or two dumps from it. (it had about 75K on it last time I looked.)

So, do I just take the .val, .log, and filelist files and put them with a 'dummy' installation here to upload the results from this comp?

Thanks sid 🙂. She has tonsilitis and it's viral so there's no meds to help. Just some lovin' and Tylenol. It really sucks when they can't tell you what's hurting (she's 1)

As far as sneakernetting goes, I've never done it so I'm no help. Let's see if we can drag FoBoT back in here, maybe he knows.

I remember when Danny was 2.... His mom had left about 3 months prior and I was just realizing that it was only me that he had to count on. He got an ear infection that was spreading to his throat with a nasty fever. He was the kind of kid that was pretty quiet even when he was uncomfortable and all we did for an entire evening was snuggle up and watch his favorite movies. It was one of those "Dad" moments I'll never forget.
