new team stats - now a permanent URL , MOSTLY working now!

Dyyryath, the Stats Guy at free-dc.org , is building a new super stats database
it is only in the testing stages, but the link above will give you an idea of what it will be like

remember , he is only in the testing stage and this link will die when he has enough data (he is looking for load on the server side and stuff like that, so needs people to try it)

it is going to be awesome!

I love it! Now I have a better idea of how much I send up everyday, instead of trying to figure it out! It gets my vote!:D

Very nice!

Just 1 small request.

inside the pages on a team when one clicks on a heading it sorts them in descending order and adds on an order column (for example, sorting the daily production and providing a ranking).

On the main page (for all the teams), the order column isn't added on.

Great stats page though! :)

here is a description of the ideas he has for the final engine (lets hope so!)

For the the teams, I'll be starting with the following:

Basic table updated hourly with name, total users, active users, movement, last update production, last day production, last week production, total production. Each of the production numbers will also display it's relation to the number 1 team's and the 2 teams immediately above and below it's equivalent by means of percentage (i.e. 28% of team x's production)

Each team will have a page similar to the current 'Personal Stats Page' for invidual users showing an adjustable number of recent updates, graphs of production by update and by day, threats & conquests, and defections. The defections table will show people coming to the team and leaving from the team as well as where they came from/went to, and how much production they moved. There will also be options to dynamically graph that team's output in any one of the time periods against any other combination of teams' output.

Each team will also have a user's page like the ones that I do for Free-DC, Ars, etc now, complete with new 'Personal Stats Pages' for the individual users with additional graphing and customization features.

I'm also working on a 'Project Overview' kind of page. It'll have the top 25 teams ranked by total production, last update's production, last day's production, last week's production, total users, active users, and some more unusual things like last day/week's production per active user (which I find REALLY interesting). This page will also have a 'movement' table showing user movement to and from all teams listed in the last 24/48 hours.

I LOVE the personal information page...

the upcomming threats and conquests is terrrrrrrriffic!

I also like the 'MOVE' column.

It was a little confusing to me as I tried to figure out how long it had been for a given update.... is this frequency fixed? Maybe something on the Team Stats page indicating when 'last' and 'previous' updates were made, or a note if the fequency is fixed.

GREAT WORK

PS: (yeah, I know its easy to ask for more, more, more.... but wouldn't it be cool if there was a threats and conquest section for the Team as well as just for individuals)

the dude making them has more features planned to add, including "virtual teams" where you can group people into sub teams for gauntlets and other cool things

some more features have been added:

color codes to show people that are high producers

tables listing people that are moving from one team to another

Heh, noticed this thread as a referrer in my web server logs. ;)

Just thought that I'd add that while they are still far from finished, I've been continuing to add new stuff just about every other day. Things will slow down a bit during the week (work and all that, you know), but I'm interested in hearing requests, comments, etc. The database backend is essentially finished and it's complete enough that I can render just about any conceivable combination of the basic information in just about any conceivable format. If anyone here has something they'd like to see that isn't available yet, I'd love to hear it. ;)

The permanent location for these stats is: http://stats.zerothelement.com/cgi-bin/distributed-folding/render-teams.pl

You can find a thread with the most recent updates on what I've added and changed with the stats right here.
