Top Folder: Kris with 106.3M folds! 😀
Best RMS: Still ATWE Terrahawk with 7.90, which is still worth 5th! 😎
Best Production: ATWE Terrahawk with 3.6M, good for 25th! 😉

TeAm Stuff:

Great folding today. Of course Rechenkraft.net did beat us by 5M for the day, but they're still 8M back so they'll likely pass us tomorrow. 🙁 Or maybe not, if FoBoT keeps his production up (let's hope so).

Daily Production: A very nice looking 44.3M which put us into 3rd.

Merry Christmas! (to those who celebrate it)

To those who don't, Happy Holidays! 😎

Thanks m0ti!

I think the FAQ you have published is great! 😎

so I'll just say it again; Thanks m0ti

Congratulations to all the MMs today!

I hope some of our fellow ATers will have pitty on us and lend a box or two to stem the evil Rechenkraft.net tide!

I wish all of you the Happiest and Safest of Holidays!

-Sid

Thanks for the stats, m0ti 🙂
It's cool to see the work you put into keeping us all informed and up to date on how we're going.

Way to go guys! Congratulations to us all - 44.3M for the last day... that's awesome! All the PODs put together add up to 38.8M folds which means that those of you that didn't make it in there did 5.5M - it all makes a big difference! 🙂

I hope to be able to temporarily boost my production for the next few days to about 3.8M a day or thereabouts as I'm gonna sneak in and turn on the work machines that aren't normally on now. However, I won't have dumped my home machines until tomorrow afternoon (it's the 25th here today and I'm heading away for a day) and hopefully, my K6 won't spontaneously reboot... it's been doing that every now and then for the last couple of days.

A Merry Christmas to you all... maybe see you here tomorrow 🙂

😀
*EDIT*
Go CrazySaint Go! Another few days and you hit double digit millions! YAY! 😀

Thanks for the stats m0ti and congrats to the PODs.

I know I will be keeping my production up the next couple of days. bob will also be adding another box to help with the folding. And also i might get my 500mhz and my 466mhz comp working again. Even though they arent fast any little bit will help out.

Merry Christmas everybody!!!!

i think they are dumping again 🙁

we may not be able to hang on this time
they have twice as many active crunchers as us :/

i had a ~2 hour power outage here at home this morning that didn't help either :\

i am going to dump about 1 million, but i don't think it will make much difference

i sent an email to jeff , the creator of dfGUI asking for two feature enhancements to dfGUI that would REALLY help me increase my production, he said he would put them on the wish list, but i have no idea when/if he will implement them

1- a timer, like with the distributed.net client, where you can set the client to run for X hours and then quit

2- a watchdog, a feature that would watch for a user defined process and exit DF/dfGUI if XYZ process started

if anybody has ever heard of any generic W2K server administration tools that would allow me to do either of these things easily , let me know

guess we will be #7 until we can pass the dsl reports dudes, that may take a few weeks

FoBoT,

Number 1 is one of the things that happens with dfQ (it's implemented... got to get round to finishing up the uploader and do the server). Every X minutes it restarts the client (transferring completed units to the server at the same time).

As for number 2, when you're stating process I'm assuming you mean a specific program. Shouldn't be too hard to implement. Your clients are installed as a service, right?

the boxen of concern are running w2k server, so i can install as a service or not, whatever is needed

i found a way to use the performance monitor to do this, but is doesn't seem to have a way to easily replicate across boxen and the performance monitor has to be open/on for it to work, not a "good" solution
