Well sid, said the hell with it and dumped 750k, then dumped 250k now, have another 250k to go out after the 0900 statsman run! I will TRY to make every six hour period, but looks like speeding tickets will be my downfall!😱

I think you are now doing it right!

Think about it...... Only the first 3 positions have prizes assigned to them. Your production is great, but even with no tickets, you wouldn't be in the top 3. Soooooo, no matter whether you are 4th or 20th you have exactly the same chances for a prize.

You really aren't loosing anything.

And with that big production, you are gonna be moving up on the list that does matter (TeAm)

Happy Holidays!

All of my PC's have 24/7 internet access via our local LAN yet I'm still getting big gaps in production on the weekend. Has happened 2 weekends in a row anyway. I know people will say it's my 'net connection going down but I know for a fact that it isn't. I've got a terminal emulation program open with a connection to a remote Unix host and it's been up for 426 hours and counting. If I get even a split second drop in my connection my terminal emulation software times out (I know because it has happened).

I really don't care about my speeding tickets or production. I'm in the race for fun and if I win anything I've already told m0ti & Sid that I will donate it to the BEOWOLF project. That said, the speeding tickets are causing problems for some members and IMO they serve no purpose now so why keep them?

I know all the posts about tickets are well intentioned and I thank you for the input, BUT

we have already had this discussion.......

It makes me very uncomfortable because I truly do wish I could please everyone.

However, from the discussions in the thread when I suggested to eliminate the tickets, it was very clear that I cannot make everyone happy.

With that in mind, it seems rather obvious from a standpoint of integrity, that I must leave the rules unchanged.

I believe joinT and bob970 had valid opinions wrt keeping the rules unchanged.

If you convince them to tell me they would like the tickets eliminated, then I will do it!

Merry Christmas to you All

Hey! I'm happy! 😎 I've enjoyed the race so far and thank you and m0ti for orchestrating the whole thing. 🙂

Merry Christmas to all, and to all KEEP FOLDING!! 😉

w00t!

Thanks CrazySaint.

I think we're just gonna have to pitch in and send bfour a fifth of Jack!

Merry Christmas!

(Of course, the cops will probably just take it away from him when he gets caught speeding 😀 )
