Hello again, Folders,

1 week notice to ATWE Racers! Get in on the action if you haven't yet! Win FaBuLoUs[ prizes!

Milestone makers:

JetBlack69 makes 5M folds!
Arlen makes 500K folds! :p
ATWE LastKnight makes 300K and 400K folds! :):):):)

Congrats to the milestone makers!

FoBoT: 542M folds, doing nicely! RMS (9.23) still worth 30th! 3.2M folds for 7th place in production! Nice! :)

Non-FoBoT:

Top Folder: TA TheMagicman 87.4M folds! :D
Best RMS: Kris moves a step up with a 9.79, which is good for 141st!
Best Production: ATWE Insidious takes the coveted prize, bringing in 927K folds for 24th! ;)

Producers Of the Day:

FoBoT 3.2M :p
ATWE Insidious 927K :p
Kris 838K :p
Robor 602K :p

Congrats to the POD's!!!

TeAm Stuff:

We've slipped back once more, this time to 12th. :( No fault of our own, though. Probably a big gun leaving a strong team to join one that was close behind us. Oh well, we're still climbing up in the overall! Next takeover is still only a couple of days off!

Daily Production: Good day for TeAm DF with 8.7M folds! That puts us back into 6th! :)

Bye-bye!

Well, being in 12th isn't too bad considering we were well back of that before FoBoT joined up. ;)

Congrats to the milestone makers & thanks for the update m0ti! :D

WTG TEAM! I know, I know need more power! I have a network job network for 2 2 gig P4's maybe I can assimalte them just in time for the race! kmmatney has been slowly gaining on me, maybe I should switch the wife's from D2OL over to DF? Might have to upgrade a router just to assimalate a 2.4 gig, 1gig memory P4! Should give me 150k a day alone!

Well, it's not much, but I should be close to doubling my home pc's production from about 60K/day to 100-110K/day. I just swapped out my 1.7 celeron for a 2.4 P4. DF sure runs alot faster now. Not only does the extra mhz help, but I think going from 128K L2 cache to 512K is the biggest factor. Hey, every little bit helps.:)

Hmmm...if I left it running DF all day my Dad's 1.1GHz Cellery would probably do close to 70k/day.

My output has been subpar lately - that should chnage this weekend though. I should be back in the PODs shortly!

Oh, I almost forgot!

I've been able to start getting some work on dfQ; mainly working on it from about 10:00 to midnight if I don't have anything more pressing. It looks like I'm going to be quite busy though in the coming week, but I should be able to release an alpha version at the end of next week.

Hopefully this will allow the corporate farmers amongst us to get more folds in.

dfQ is a proggie that will take the sneaker out of sneaker-net.

It'll allow you to upload all the results in a network to a single machine, which if it has internet access will upload them; alternatively, it can create a single file of all the information, which can then easily be transferred to another machine with internet-access and uploaded.

I think that a lot of computers aren't being utilized because sneaker-netting tends to be a bit of a pain.
