Well, this is coming out a few hours (3-4) later than usual. Either the compression algorithm I've been working on in my spare time for the last three days is doing extraordinarily well (compresses files from 137 bytes to 5MB to 24 bytes. Exactly. Haven't tried it on larger files yet)., or I've got some massive bug somewhere. I'm betting on the bug (24 bytes exactly? Hmm, Entropy probably shouldn't allow that size for files of a certain complexity). Oh well, we'll find out by the weekend when I've got the decompresser as well. If it IS working, I guess I'll have take a patent on it and find out how I can get rich, and build a first rate rack for DF! (/dreams happily)
