Hello Folders,

Another day, and another DF Daily on its way!

Let's take a look at today's milestone makers:

Baldy18 completes 10M folds!
rolleye.gif
(Best of luck with D20L. Keep in touch with us back here at DF!)
kmmatney complets 5M folds! (did I miss the 4M milestone???)

Congrats, guys!

Top Folder: TA TheMagicman at 87.4M folds! :D
Best RMS: sduguid retains the RMS crown with his 10.14 (good for 173rd)!
Best Production: Kris with an impressive 740K (good for 36th)! ;)

Notable Producers Of The Day:

Kris 740K :p
kmmatney 523K :p
bfour 410K :p

(Sorry, Sid... you just missed it by 2.2K!)

TeAm Stuff:

Not our best day, though not a bad one. Still catching up though it's going to be at least 90 days at the current pace to hit 17th.

Daily Production: 3.4M on the day. Not spectacular, but is alright. It's good enough for 14th which isn't too bad at all.

Happy Halloween, Everybody! (/me looks for a pumpkin smiley, but can't find one!)

Hi everyone! Thanx for the welcome thread.

I currently have a Athlon 4 1 GHZ and a Celeron 900 working on DF. Since I changed jobs I lost a part of the herd. I used to run ECCP and was 10th for TA but this will be more of a challenge for assimilation.

Thx again for the welcome and happy crunching!

There you iz!

OK, I know you are young, but there are rules to these things:

Car Keys, Power Tools, and Keyboards.......

"what are things that make women dangerous" --------------- Correct for $64.00! :D

(no flames please, it is a JOKE)

Run it as a service or in quiet mode (if not 2K/NT/XP). You get some for taking it off..... we get some for you getting over (tee hee)

Thanks for the stats, m0ti! :)

Gah, the DF CLI crashed again today (this time on Linux), I think I may need to back off my memory timings a bit (running PC2700@DDR400), or else I need to back off my OC a tad, but I think its the RAM because I didn't notice any crashes until I tightened up the timings.

I didn't notice any crashes until I tightened up the timings

I had a stick try to go south..... showed up with DF client shutdowns.... had to back out to CL=2.5 and Normal timings (erg)

Cant afford to replace the stick(s) so happy with this for now. (not really that big a loss... maybe 5% in a benchie)

Good luck!

Congrats MM's.
As always, thanks m0ti.

Added a 600 athlon today without ram switch.

Its a new stick, so I don't think its going south. I think at DDR400 (its PC2700), I'm just pushing it kinda hard, so I backed off to 2.5-3-3-7 (from 2-3-3-7). Hopefully I won't get any more crashes, especially with the speed increases from running it under Linux! I've also got my PII-350 running full time, which is good for about 20-25k/day and I've got a Celeron 1.1GHz laptop (actually my Dad's) that I can run DF on a few hours a day for another 5-15k/day - not much, but every bit counts :)
