Hello Folders,

Let's start off by welcoming a few new faces to the TeAm:

CrazySaint :D
jaybee :D
WX :D

And get on with the milestone makers:

AT JW310 has made 5M folds!
Mloot has made 4M folds! :D:D:D:D
JetBlack69 has made 400K folds! :):):):)
WX has made 100K folds! :)

Congrats everyone!

Top Folder: TA TheMagicman with 87.4M :D (he's gone totally inactive the last couple of days. I'll send him a personal message to see what's up. If anybody has his e-mail, it may be a good idea to let him know).
Best RMS: Still Kris with the 10.19, which is good for about 96th overall!
Best Production: Insidious rules again today! His production stands at 313K which is good enough for about 83rd overall! ;)

TeAm Stuff:

We aren't getting any closer to our targets. We need more folds... more! More! MORE!

Daily Production: Once again, fairly unspectacular. 1.97M puts us in 21st, 40K out of 20th.

This concludes tonight's broadcast...

Thanks m0ti

For those who noticed the VERY low numbers on statsman.... Don't dispair.... This from DistributedFolding.org:

- Just a note that the main server is scheduled for maintenance next Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 11am EDT. This may take several hours and during this time the entire website and data servers will be unavailable. You may leave your clients folding however, and they will upload their data once the server comes back online.

Happy foldin' to all.... and to all a good.......... (crap, I STILL have no rhyme :( )

Glad to have CrazySaint jaybee, and WX aboard... Thanks to all of you!

Thanks for the warm welcome :) The server maintainence tossed a wrench into my production, because I shut down the client, and when I tried to restart it, it wouldn't start because it couldn't log in. I also lost nearly 5k when I accidently hit "End Task" on the folding client. I just uploaded nearly 15k of overnight production, though :D But it should have been closer to 30k, dunno what happened there.

Last time I was fiddling around with my computer, I convinced myself I had a DF problem...... then ran into the same thing you did..... couldn't connect with server.

Normally, this is no issue, but I am cursed...... :D

I run DF as a service (WindowsXP) and while I see frequent times in the error.log file that the server wouldn't connect, DF just keeps on crunching and all is fine in the end. It only ferks things up if you are trying to start the client for the first time. And as my curse would have it, I got burnt then like you are now.

Don't worry though, just try again tomorrow or something. After you get it up once, you will not loose your data very often (if ever again)

Thankfully the server's back up and my DF client is crunching away again :) That'll teach me to restart the client ;)

Thanks m0ti... With ECCp ending today I think the DF team should get a nice influx of new members. ;)
