Hello Everybody,

It's definitely looking more and more likely that we'll hit the 10 billion fold mark before next tuesday so the protein change will very likely be then.

Milestone Makers

AppleTalking hits 8M folds! 😎😀😀😀
gistech1978 hits 7M folds! 😎😀😀
Atomicarnage hits 100K folds! 🙂

Congrats to the milestone makers! 🙂😎😀

FoBoT: 4.1M folds and a 12th place finish. 700K more would put you up in 7th!

non-FoBoT:
Top Folder: ATWE Robor with 266.0M folds and 44th overall! 😀
Best RMS: JetBlack69 still in the lead, now in 23rd! 😎
Best Production: ATWE Robor with 3.2M folds and 18th overall! 😉

TeAm Stuff

Well, we're up to the 50% activity level which isn't bad. Hopefully, we can regain our former numbers of glory. Relative production is down a tad to 5.07%.

Daily Production: We've managed to improve to 23.2M folds, but we're still in 4th for the day. Rechenkraft.net is not going to sit idly by and let us pass them (again). They did nearly another 6M on us.

Thanks m0ti!

I got caught snoozing again 😱

Congratulations to the MMs and PODs today!

Do I see 10 members on the POD's list? I sure do! Nice!! 😀

Don't like being 4th in production though. That's gonna have to change if we're going to catch Rechenkraft.

Congrats to the POD's and MM'ers and thanks to m0ti & Sid! 🙂

Originally it was a pure percentage based thing: need 10% or more of team production to make the list. When FoBoT came along, his numbers were usually discounted from the team production for that calculation (considering he had around 33% - 50% of team production on some days, it didn't really give anybody else a chance). At some point the 10% turned to 7.5% and 5%.

Today, since our daily production is fairly constant I use a fair, constant point that I determine. For example on the last protein I set it at 1 Million folds, which seemed fair. This was perhaps a little low for our production levels and the POD list was quite large.

Today, for the current protein (which is slower) I set it to 750K, which is a little more challenging than 1M folds on the previous protein (if I use the benchmarks from my computer as an indication I would have to set it 667K to be equivalent). Still, the POD list is looking healthy enough.

I'll announce the POD cutoff in the future for new proteins.
