Sory for missing out on the Daily. Still a little sick but I'm seem to be recovering faster now.

We're sitting at the 3 quarters' mark for the current protein, and we're just shy of 3 weeks for the protein. So it's definitely possible to see a protein change next week.

Wow, some really nice numbers put up by the POD's today and great folding by everyone!

Daily Production: TeAm DF puts up some very impressive numbers: 37.1M folds for the day and 2nd overall! 😎 Rechenkraft.net and FreeDC are back at the 30M mark so great job, guys!

We're not doing so hot on our "3rd place by (the end of) 2003". Extrapolating performance based on the past week we've got about 79 more weeks to go, just 30 weeks too many. Hopefully there will be some small proteins on the way to help us make up lost ground, though I can't say that I'm expecting them.

yes, i predict we will hit 10 beeeelion this Friday just prior to midnight EST
hopefully howard will be ready to move to another protein the following tuesday (28 jan)

ATWE stuff:

I think we still have a fair amount of time before Phase II DF comes around and may even be able to finish ATWE on our scheduled date,
but just in case.... (ATWE will end as scheduled or when Phase II begins... whichever comes first) It's time for me to try and get some details tied up
with respect to prizes and such (ah, the good stuff 😉 )

First of all, I remember that some people told me in one conversation or another that they are racing "exhibition" and will not be claiming prizes. I'm not holding
anyone to those long ago remarks, but if we do have any exhibitionists ( :Q ) amoung us, please let me know (either here or in a PM if you prefer)

I am planning on doing the drawing, then giving everyone a chance to trade prizes around if they wanted to before I gathered up shipping information. Just a reminder that all prizes are shipped U-pay and if you are not in the USA and anything special needs to be done to ship to you.... please do the legwork for me and get the details I might need.

The only real issue I am dealing with is the fact that we have only 10 prizes for 20 VERY deserving racers... I hope all of you know how much I wish my pile-O-stuff was deep enough for everyone.

Got my Jukebox up & running. That's another C900. Having some problems w/ DF running as a service. Keeps giving the XP (Windows has detected an error) send report/don't send warning. Has the client changed at all ? It asked to download an update twice. any suggestions ?

One of my machines did that when i set it up. I just deleted it all and downloaded a fresh copy from the website - installed and all was good 🙂

On an unrealated note, I've just lost a dual P3/550 from my fleet *boo hoo* as it's getting installed as a web server and doesn't have enough RAM to run DF properly and serve webs 🙁
Ah well... on the upside, I may yet have another 10 Durons to add - their extra 256MBs of RAM have arrived *YAY*. Depends on whether I can get the whole DF Win98 "service" (touch wood) to work :frown:

Why don't you try dfDetect? It can run DF totally hidden.
