Robor! on the weekend! Toooooooo Cool 😎

What did you do to fix it?

I'm betting the duct tape and epoxy on the plugs plus a surrounding moat and barbed wire electric fence and ravenous wolves running around...

Congratulations to the producers of the day and the milestone makers for the figures, and thanks go to to m0ti for the stats! Good stuff team on our consistent good throughput 🙂
Gotta catch those Rechenkraft guys yet though...

OK, that was just MEAN 😛

But serioiusly, we are a bit under the weather.......... If there are folks who are so inclined amoung you lurking, non-'DFalready', beautiful, generous souls,
we would sure welcome your spare electrons!

Interested? Give this sweet li'l TART a PM 😉

LOL I was just looking at Dyyryath's stats and muttley is one of my upcoming conquests.......

I should pass him on 2023-01-30 08:00:00 :Q😕

I've seen it show them a year ahead but never 20 years!!!

I just looked at Dyyryath's stats and found a dump of almost 900k folds. I wonder exactly which one of my machines that is... as far as I know, I should only have a dump of about 300k there.

Unfortunately, my weekend constipation is still here. It's the same as last week and the week before. I've been monitoring them thru Dyyryath's stats and at 4am something happens and my machines stop uploading. It makes no sense. I'm 99% positive our circuit doesn't go down on Sunday. I've had telnet connections from my work PC to remote Unix boxes for over 30 days that "break" if they lose connection for more than a split second yet during that period I still go through these lapses in production. It's end-of-month today at work so I've got to go in and do some things. I'll check my 'net connectivity while I'm there.

Looks like our POD list is shrinking. I remember we had 10-11 a few days ago. Where are ya hiding POD's? 😉

Congrats to the MM'ers and thanks m0ti & Sid!

RATZ 🙁

Is there any kind of scheduled service (back-up, audit, etc...) that happens then that might
be making DF think it is not connected to the network?

System backup, maintenance etc might be getting in the way (I don't know DNS services may be unavailable on your DNS server during this time).

I can't think of anything. The local domain controller backs up at 8pm nightly and it doesn't get in the way. No backups run on the weekend. I just logged in thru the VPN and terminal serviced into my local domain controller. There's nothing in Event Viewer that would indicate any problems overnight and it's got no trouble connecting to several sites around the 'net. I pinged a few of the local DF clients I could remember by name and they're responding just fine.

Sooo... As I expected my circuit is up and my 'net connection is fine - at least from the domain controller. I can't check from any of the DF clients right now but my guess is they're okay. There's usually a few people in the office on weekends and if they couldn't access the 'net I'd get a call.

One question I have is where exactly are the DF clients trying to upload results to? I'd like to ping/tracert that address and see what happens.

Oh, correction... This isn't End-of-Month for my company. That's next week. I know, what a dumba$$... 😕 😱

'Vincero (aka vss1980) hits 2M folds!'

Just warming my Athlon up a bit (can cut the heating bills that way, listen to music collection, work, and crack at the same time)....... Which incidentally makes me notice that compared to an unlocked Duron, the client flies on an Athlon (more so than the MHz difference would account for) so a note, it appears the DF client loves more CPU cache.

....... Ooohhh, the Athlon's up to 67 'C - aahhh well, thats what you get when you get a stupidly loud delta fan and knock a few volts off its top speed.... 😛

BTW: Its an Athlon 1.4GHz (Thunderbird).... so its a case of which is greater 'cpu processing' vs. 'cpu heating' abilities.
Still stable at 75'C (when I inadvertently stopped the fan for about a minute - d'oh!)
