Sweet Benchies, seems my 1600's are getting a little long in the tooth. Anyone know of any Opteron benchies with DF?

if/when HP makes a cheap box with an opteron cpu, i will ask for one to "evaluate" and give it a go 😀

final linux mark

hmm, not faster than W2K3 :/

time to try XP and then W2K Server

That is a surprise, I would have expected the opposite.

I'm bettin' XP is gonna be the pig of the bunch....... (but look at the pretty colors

Actually, I have really enjoyed using XP here, but it does seem to keep itself pretty busy.

If you guys would be interested then in a couple weeks I can benchmark DF for you on my new 1.6GHz Pentium-M that I'll be getting.

Oh heckies YES! Always interested in benchies :Q

And, just for FoBoT, yer shaming me into eeking up the speeds on these new 'pooters a little sooner than I had planned. (Still settling in the new OS/Apps. installations.

Annnnnyway, here's where I am so far: (2500+ @ 12.5 x 168) I'm already up to Vcore = 1.75 and temp. is at 50, so (I'm guessing) there isn't much head room left for me.
