Dexter the video game

They are making a video game of the show Dexter.
No real details, but if parents complained about things like GTA, can't wait for the responses to being able to play a serial killer.
Going to be interesting to see the final game.

March 3, 2008 - Tomorrow, Showtime Networks and Marc Ecko Entertainment will announce that they have partnered up to create an all-new videogame based on the popular award-winning show, Dexter. Though a specific development team has yet to be named, Ecko Entertainment has said that it will work closely with Showtime to keep the game as faithful to the television show as possible.

Ugh, it will end up like all those TV drama -> game conversions like The Shield and Law and Order. The first place you're going to find it is in the bargain bin or in stacks at Big Lots or Half Price Books.

It will probably suck. Too bad, the show is very good (though season 2 was a step down from season 1).

Dexter (the tv show) kicks soooooooo much ass... but a video game? Not sure I see the appeal.
