Although DA is a very cool guy, he has a blatent disrespect for the way AT FS/FT is run. When he was busy with is personal life, he couldn't take a break from FS/FT, and his rep suffered for it.

good riddance. Always shipped slow, each time I bought something from him, item would take two weeks or more to arrive, and I lived 3 states away. I figured the first time was a fluke, the second time someone was in an accident, the third time had something to do with a court case he had or something. After that he went on the DNT, and I found out later he was on quite a few other member's DNT's, wish I would have found out earlier. I knew it would only be a matter of time before he ripped someone off.

He may be a great guy but he's an absolutely sh!tty trader

too bad there's not a way to just ban him from FS/T

He is a good guy, he just couldn't respect how online buying/selling works. Although Ross linked to 2 examples, they arn't the only ones out there.

I think he should be able to come back too, but he's had quite a few chances becuase of his previous rep/heat already.
 
In a situation like that, why can't they leave his account open and just not let him trade?

His trading issues don't sound malicious.
 
I remember that thread. I read the whole thing at the time. That wasn't the only thread about DA and his trading habits.

DA had a habit of taking money for stuff and then not falling off the face of the earth with ZERO communication with the buyer for months at a time. He eventually shipped what he was supposed to, but this started happening with too many ppl in too many trades. That thread turned into a pretty nice fight though. If the search worked, I would find the other threads about him.

DA is a great guy and I miss him posting here on OT, but I can understand.... from a buyers POV what is must be like to send money and have the buyer disappear for months.

I guess youd have to lock all threads he would try to make, since most of his trades were selling stuff.

You can using other forum software, though I am not sure about FuseTalk. We not only have a seperate Mod Forum on the forum I work at, we have created sub groups that we can put people in to limit their posting to specific forums out of all publicly available forums.

It didn't make the other forums invitation only, it only applied to the user that we placed in the sub groups. For instance, we would make one that was "No Politics/News" and then place that user in it, and they could no longer post in that forum.

I would have to imagine so, he was very well respected outside of FS/FT.
