oh man what a visual treat.

Just wish they made monitors with resolutions higher than 1080 @ 120hz, and I'd be right there with ya.

a) developers never get to see their work like that. shame.
b) really hard to get a perspective of how large that is. put a 21: 1080p monitor next to them or something to give us perspective as to how big those mamma-jamma's are.

Ugh... bezels! I've always wondered something... is it possible to just remove monitors from their casings and put them next to each other? I have two 21" monitors that I've been tempted to try it with.

Also, I watched a little bit of the video, and I noticed that the Succubus was spewing red crap on the ground... aren't you immune to that if you have the demon weapon "equipped"? I was watching Total Biscuit play the stage before that one, and it made him immune to a similar effect from some skeleton creature.

I'm just wondering how many of the people yelling "omg bezels!" have actually tried any kind of multi monitor gaming in person. Now I ain't saying it's not noticeable but it isn't nearly as bad as it appears to be when watching a video.
When your'e immersed in the game the bezels really don't get in the way too much atleast in 3x1 landscape and I was never a fan of portrait because it does put the bezels much closer but still I imagine its not nearly as bad in person as it may seem in a video.

It's true, gaming with bezels isn't half as bad as most people probably believe.

Hmm... I've never taken a LCD monitor apart before, so I was hoping that they would be more like laptops with the fairly-detachable screens. But based on some of those photos, it looks like the plastic bezel just surrounds an existing smaller metal casing that houses the panel and the circuitry. Although, I guess it would be possible to take that apart too. One of my monitors has a bad DVI port on it meaning you have to use VGA (*shudder*) or else the video drops a lot. So, I could try tearing him apart without feeling bad if I end up junking it.

Three monitors isn't too bad - for many games, your attention is at the center of the screen where there isn't a bezel.

Two screens would be the worst, because you'd have bezels right in the the middle.

What screens are you using?

I'm using 3x Dell U3011 monitors.

Just uploaded another video: http://youtu.be/Wed05kM4ci0

Have some gameplay vids on a single monitor as well. Will upload them later.

And, to those who keep talking about the bezels, it's hard to explain without you seeing them in person. Your eyes actually learn to ignore them when you play games. It takes a little getting used to but it's a small con compared to the incredible resolution and immersive atmosphere during gaming that a triple 30 inch monitor setup gives.

yeah i tried playing on two monitors once. it was awful, my head got so messed up from trying to focus on two areas at once.

that's why i immediately decided to purchase a 3rd monitor :D
