Device mgr question on a asus A7N8X MB

Hi all,

I updated to the nforce 2.45 drivers for this MB and get question marks on the other devices category under both ethernet and raid. If none of these are in use, is that why "??" is coming up???

If i remember correctly, there is a jumper on the mobo to enable/disable SATA raid if you don't use it. If you only have ATA IDE devices attached then disable the SATA raid by moving the jumper on the mobo.

The ethernet network adapter, there are two on the delux version of the a7n8x, one is Nvidia and one is 3com. You need to turn off one or both in the bios if you don'e use it, i think it's in peripherals or some such. It'll probable be the 3com network adapter as the Nvidia one should be in the 2.45 driver package.

It's not showing question marks because it's not is use, it's showing them because they don't have drivers installed for them. But if you do decide to use them, just go to Asus' website and download the proper drivers for them.

So... after I download the drivers from the website, do I just go to update drivers and point to the folder I unzipped it to???
