Device Manager under the hood

Does anyone know of any way to delete a device from device manager (win7) by using command line, for example:

devmgmt.msc delete:"device name"

I know that wont work but I am wondering if there is any way at all to do it. It doesnt even have to be done with devmgmt.msc
