Hey guys,
I'm working on starting a small computer repair / consulting business at the moment. One of the things I absolutely want to do is go completely paperless. I'm already working on a website to take CC / debit cards for payment so that I can spend a minimal amount of time handling cash and checks, but going with paperless contacts would be a plus as well.
I'm thinking of writing all contracts in PDF (or similar digital) form. One problem is having customers actually sign the contract. Is there anything relatively cheap (we'll say, $500 or less, and the lower the better) that I can use for customers to read the contract, and then sign the dotted line? I'm thinking a tablet would be perfect, but I need to make sure it'd be suitable for signatures.
Thoughts?
