Not sure if this is the correct section. Mods feel free to move it...

I am not a programmer. I took Visual Basics over 10yrs ago. I own a Mac Book, A windows 7 machine, and an Android phone. I am curious about developing apps for any platform but Windows tips my interest a little more than others. Say for example I wanted to start developing apps for Windows Phones what do I need to get started?
