Developing a script to pull numbers from comparison shopping engines

So we work with clients who promote their products on comparison shopping engines, such as yahoo shopping, pricegtabber, etc..and every week we manually generate reports that tell how many clicks/sales they've gotten from the previous week. The process basically involves logging into each engine, entering dates, retrieiving the numbers, and then putting it into a spreadsheet.

I'm looking for a way to automate the process somehow, and am trying to figure out the best language in order to do so..or are there any macro generating programs that could do this?

There's some links to various tools / techniques. Since you already have a procedure for doing it manually it should be trivial to automate.

your clients should be using some affiliate marketing tools/companies to manage and track that info
