Deus Ex Mankind Divided (sequel to Deus Ex HR)

Please allow the game to be played entirely in first person this time, I absolutely hated the perspective switching and mini cinematics in the first. Also, the story was awful, and I ran into more bugs than any game I can recall in recent memory. If that stuff gets sorted, I may be interested.

I never asked for this.

Seeing how the original Deus Ex started as a PC-only game, and that Human Revolution had a very well done PC version, I don't think there's any doubt that this game is coming to PC. But yeah, Human Revolution is one of my favorite games in recent memory, so I'm excited as hell for this game (I still haven't gotten around to playing the original Deus Ex though, I should probably do that. ^_^). "Mankind Divided". That actually sounds like a great subtitle, it's intriguing and has a nice thematic ring to it.

It is legit. I saw a Square enix thing on twitter, something interactive on twitch, Twitch chat controlled cameras, set up in something like a interrogation room and some guy was "held captive". It was really late and I had to get up early but it totally had DX vibe.

Cool, but I'll probably just wait for it on a Steam sale. I'm personally not into single player FPS games enough to spend more than $10 on this.

great game, would pirate again, 10/10

oh wait what? pay for this lifeless, useless pos? yeah lol right.
(i did the first in 1 go which i paid launch price for. i kept playing waiting for something "cool" to happen. actually got sick because of the incredible boredom, dullness, stupidity and every other negative adjective you can think of.
still, i am somewhat intrigued at what new pits of abysmal failure the new DX will sink, if anything to be able to discuss it here.
but i'm not paying for it, if anything, i should be paid for wasting my time.)

Mildly optimistic although after the cheap & tacky mobile cash in "The Fall" (plus the "direction" Square Enix steered Thief reboot in), I'm half expecting them to majorly screw it up / dumb it down somehow and am treating DXHR as a one-off fluke until I see lengthy 'actual gameplay' footage to the contrary... :\

Hell YES!!! I for one was very pleased by how authentic a remake HR was. As good as the original? No, but then again I never really expected it to be.

Here's hoping they make this new one harder, with better AI and even more dramatic

I'd also like to see the Director's Cut of the current game get another patch for the remaining issues.

I like the gun customization shown in the screenshot.

I found Human Revolution to be quite good, but I still think Invisible War is the best in the franchise.

Bah, go away.

Trailer.

Adam Jensen is still a badass.

From the credits, it looks like the people who were responsible for the first game are still involved, which is a good thing. Same producer, director and writer.

However... I'm a bit worried about that trailer. The previous game allowed the player a lot of leeway in terms of how violently he approached it. However, the trailer is pretty violent. I'm hoping it is a representation of things Jensen MAY do in the game rather than cutscenes depicting things he does do.
