Has anyone here played Deus Ex Game of the Year Edition under WinXP? I have the Deus Ex GOTYE that came with the SB Audigy Gamer. I applied all the patches that were newer than the version on the CD. I have a Geforce 3 Ti500, AMD Tbird 1ghz OC to 1.4Ghz, and 512Mb ram. I am using the28.32 drivers with the refresh rate mod. (downloaded them from Guru3d.com)

The problem is that no matter what resolution I set it at. the highest it goes to is 800x600. The HUD is annoyingly huge. I have a Samsung 900NF so my monitor should support the 1280x1024 resolution that I want to use.

check my system specs below for more info.
Thanks for any help

Are you using Direct3D or OpenGL as the renderer? I had trouble trying to use OpenGL beyond 800X600, but could go higher with Direct3D...

At 1024x768 D3D it seems to work, but anything higher it goes back down to 800x600.... odd. Still missing my desired 1280x1024 though. I know my GF3 Ti500 can handle it.

Had this problem myself. Seemed to have fixed the problem after I reinstalled and patched the game. My copy of Deus Ex GOTYE came with my Audigy.
