Hi all...

I'm at my cousin's house right now (cable woohoo!) who has a P3-450 with 192MB and a TNT2. Deus Ex LAGS! I was surprised at how much it lagged at times! Quite a taxing game I guess then eh? I'm waiting for him to quit his game so he can send it over to my comp.. Although it will probably lag horribly on mine (K6-2 @ 400, 96MB PC66@100, Banshee).

We'll see...

Anyway, your thoughts please. :D

It lags a little on my system but then again I have a TNT2 :(. I think its a problem with the engine design or something but its one hell of a fun game to play no matter if it lags a little. I mean it doesn't really lag on my system its more it runs slower than it probably should. Oh well.

It's playable on mine at full detail, etc. It's a great game so far, but I lost most of my saves from my HD.. :(

The infamous Deus Ex... hehe.. i have yet to have time to finish it... i'm SOOOOOO close... w/in 1-2hrs!!!! but nooooo.. school gets in the way.

And yes, it lags for me (celeron 800/128MB/TNT2U). It's based on Unreal/UT, so in effect, it's a Glide game. You get yourself a V3 and/or 256MB of ram, that seems to help the problem quite a bit.

K6-2/400 w/96MB PC66 @ 100MHz with 16MB PCI Banshee... 1024x768 with everything set to maximum, it's pretty laggy. Very playable in 640x480.

Little laggy at the start but other than that, works good on T-Bird 900 @ 927 with a Radeon DDR.

"just curious... why overclock if only gunna get 27mhz? Just tryin to squeeze every bit out eh"

Are you talking to me? I don't see where I'm OCing 27MHz... My K6-2/350 is at 400, that's 50MHz, and my PC66 SDRAM is at 100MHz, that's an extra 34MHz.

How did I know I had that question coming?;) My processor has been overheating so I had to reduce the core voltage. I didn't unlock the multiplier yet and I didn't want to test the FSB too much so I settled on 103 mhz until I got a new heatsink. I'll increase it more later of course, but at the time I played and described it that's what it was set at.

It lags on all systems. It's one of my favorite games ... I beat it because it was so addicting. ;)
