I remember one of the characters in DX1 describing that I could take the direct approach and get into a gunfight, or I could use a more subtle app...BANG BANG BANG BANG BOOM!

Got bored, started shooting. What were you saying again?

I liked IW, but I just wanted more of the DX storyline. The gameplay was very - simplified. I remember showing it to one of my friends, and he got bored with it extremely quickly because he had to think about more than just whom to shoot. Considering he represents a solid majority of people's attention spans out there, I'm not surprised they keep dumbing down the games.

Seeing as how DX3 is now right around the corner and it's been a few years since I last played DX1, I've decided to reinstall the game and give it another go. Have any of you heard of The Nameless Mod that was released last year, supposedly adds 15+ hours of gameplay and was in development for 7 years. I'm definitely gonna try that as well.

I'm going to reinstall DX1/DX2 before 3 comes out, hopefully.
