Man, Detroit had 6 shootings within the last 24 hours. This is all we need. People to act stupid when America will soon have it's eyes on the city because of the All Star game and Super Bowl. Most happened on the West side, probably gang related. But one was at a TV station in downtown.:thumbsdown:

So when people come to Detroit for those events make sure you bring your bullet proof vest.

Jesus christ. No one man can heal the entire Detriot area. Why not vent your anger towards the people actually committing the crimes instead of an innocent bystander? It's like bitching at the clerk who got shot in the stomach because he didn't try to take the robber's gun.

All anyone does is complain about Detroit. But where were you during the Detroit Project - a weekend-long campaign to clean up the Brightmoor area? Sitting at home is my best guess.

Sure, no one person can heal the problems, but everyone can do their part. It doesn't take much, and it starts with a better attitude.

Actually I was sitting at home. In Kentucky. I made plans to head up and help with the "clean up", but I then remembered that I didn't give a fvck, so I sat at home.

The shootings mostly affect black America. IMO once white America starts to become the victims then and only then will the government intervene.


I bet those 6 killings were all minority related and probably all black.

I think one was brown. Not sure. I know a few happened in SW Detroit (hispanic area) a few days ago.
