I get out of date stories on every news "aggregator" I use apparently at random and usually from obscure/small sites... if they have any central "theme" I'm not seeing it.

Occasionally they consist of interesting/oddball stories that I missed when they happened but usually they're some kind of nonsense and looking at them is just a waste of time
