Detox center for game-addicts

Tim, 21, a game addict, poses after therapy at Smith & Jones Addiction Consultants in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Thursday.

I bet there were times when I was playing MMO's that you'd show that to me, i'd scoff.. then seriously.. seriously ponder it.

Video games may look innocent, but they can be as addictive as gambling or drugs

What a load of trash. Heroin, cocaine, and amphetamines are physically, chemically, addictive. Your body _needs_ the drug to function, it is not imaginary.

Hopefully those guys meet some real addicts while they're there and realise how small their own problems are.

Wasn't there a guy in Asia who wouldn't stop playing an on-line game, and died from doing it non-stop? No food, or something like that?
