Detonator4 options layout - FSAA question

I just installed the det4's. I had been using 7.97's.

The new layout of the control panels annoys me. I previously had different FSAA settings defined in both D3D and OpenGL so I could switch between them via the quicktweak icon.

With the det4's the FSAA has it's own tab and no option to save the settings. I find it pretty annoying to go through 3 layers of control panesl to change FSAA settings.

Is there a better way?

The forthcoming new version of NVMAX should do everything you want.

There's a new mode in NVMax when using the 21.81 drivers. It's 4X FSAA + Filter. I'm guessing it's a form of the same filter used with the 2X FSAA called Quinunx. It makes 4X FSAA so much smoother and better looking.

I got the beta version of NVmax. I have to play around with presets a bit but it seems quite tweak-a-licious.

I've been using Rivatuner for the longest time now; the Det 4's won't allow me to independently control FSAA. For the most part, they liked to revert to one universal option: no FSAA at all. Hopefully nVidia works on these drivers a lot more. And hopefully they won't be so quick to forget about us poor saps who have these pathetic outdated Geforce 2 cards.
