I've got a GeForce 2 GTS Pro 64 mo and when I installed the Detonator XP, my score in 3D Mark 2001 drop from 2020 to 1933. Do you think that the next versions of these drivers will be optmised for GeForce 2 cards?
Thanks to anybody who will help me.

I sincerely doubt it. GF2 is no longer the best they offer, and I'm sure their more concerned about making the GF3 look good right now.
DetXP's are going to be catering the the GF3 users...

Remember he's also using a P3 550MHz though... possibly a Katmai varient so he's definitely processor limited at this point. Given that your running a T-Bird 900MHz it's unsurprising that you manage to outperform him despite your only having an MX.

I have run through roughly a hundred benches, one has been slower on my Pro450, about eighty five or so were faster with the rest remaining the same. Actual gameplay backs this up, I've gained a useable resolution in couple of games, all on a GF2 based board.

Which version of DX are you running?

I'm in the same boat - older vid card (worse - GF256 DDR :) and a P3 500mhz Katmai. I drop 60-80 points in both 3dmark 2000 and 2001.

edit - FYI - My performance has degrade with every driver release since 6.50...

It's a pity that no reviewers have included the GeForce256 when comparing drivers anymore :(

For my my 3DMark increased by 100 points by going to 21.81 maybe it's a minimal increase but at least it's not dropping. I have a PIII-733 running w2k. As Rand has said maybe it's held back by the Katmai core.

I'm sure the next driver revision will correct many errors w/ the GF2..

They are releasing a GF2Ti, and to think they would stop optimising the drivers for the GF2 series is silly.
