i have a tnt2 ultra card...which is the best detonator to use in win 2k pro ? 1x.xx ? 2x.xx ?
and i remember that i read something over in nvidia's site that only the geforce based cards are recommended to use the WHQL versions...is this true ? since i'm using a tnt2 based card ...does that mean i have to use a non WHQL version of the driver ?
please advice...thanks😎
 
You almost need to try some different versions of the driver and see which gives you the best performance. For example I was running 21.85 (beta) until 21.83 (gold) was released.

My 3DMark 2001 score with the 21.85's: 3146.

My 3DMark 2001 score with the 21.83's: 3972.

I realize the scores don't mean much in the "real world" but in this context they are meaningful.

Edit: Forgot to mention, both tests were done with WinXP as the OS.
