All of the Hot Deal dynamitedata.com are broken.

I've tried the links from three different machines across the US.

Deals are basically dead in the water.

EDIT: Looks like the server came back.
 
I've had to wait 15-20s several times to get the pages to load. If this continues I will be very frustrated, I'm all for giving anandtech money, but dynamitedata needs to get their servers stable or I'll just start using greasemonkey to remove the redirects.
 
Isn't working with ewiz links either....it will go to ewiz, but instead of the item you are linking to it says "item not found"
 
I just received a note from one of the DD guys; their server problems should be fixed, and indeed it's working fine right now.

They didn't mention anything about eWiz, but that appears to be working too.

It's the middle of the night so I can't do much, but I'm yelling at the DD guys first thing in the morning. That's the best I can do for you guys, sorry about that.

Edit: It turns out they don't sleep, or something. This was resolved within an hour. :Q

Either this affects only some people or it comes and goes. I just checked 10 different links in Hot Deals and all worked.

 
Kris has also mentioned to me that 3rd party proxies/filters can throw a wrench in things. Apparently there's at least one filter that classifies DD as a spammy site, and blocks it. If you're having a problem and using a filter, he'd probably like to know.
 
Peerguardian will block it (if it's in one of your lists) but even with it disabled, it's a crapshoot as to whether it will redirect or not. It usually works, but sometimes it just doesn't. 🙁

If anything's ever not working, could you do us a favor and grab some diagnostic data about what's not working and where? My job is far easier when I can go yell at Kris telling him that DD is broken with examples of what in particular isn't working.😛

It's probably too late, but do you have a screenshot? Or a link? I can't go complaining to DD telling them to fix stuff if I don't know what exactly is broken.

Don't know if it's browser related or something temporary or what. They all work for me at this time with IE7.
