Detonator Drivers Kill Powerpoint XP (on WinXP)

I downloaded Wolfenstein demo and it wouldn't start claiming OpenGL problems under Windows XP. I downloaded the latest detonator drivers and Wolfenstein works fine. Unfortunately, the next time I opened Powerpoint XP the whole I got a bluescreen. On reboot the message tells me that the video card went into an infinite loop. I tried again with same results. I rolled back to the Microsoft provided drivers for my TNT2 card and Powerpoint works, but Wolfenstein again says I don't have OpenGL support.

Anyone else have this problem with Powerpoint? All the other Office XP apps work fine.
