Detonator drivers keep refreshing my comp.

I have a geforce 3 ti200 on a sis 645 mobo. I am using detonator 40.72. Occasionally, the screen will lock and refresh, and then go back to normal. This gets annoying cause it happens often. I narrowed the problem to det 4 drivers on the sis chipset based mobo, but reverting back to older detonator drivers = slower performance and occasional bsod lock ups. Does anyone else have this problem? Thanks.

I don't understand what you mean by this. Is it like when you switch to the desktop and it takes along time to redraw your desktop picture or something? If it does it sounds like you need more system RAM.

Also make sure you have the latest BIOS and chipset drivers for your system and don't overclock anything.
 
What i mean is... you know when you change resolutions in windows, it turns black and then goes back into windows, it keeps doing that in my comp. I do have my vid card overclocked, but i set it back to default and it still gave me this refreshes. I am also using rivatuner and it's refresh rate fix. All my refresh rates are in supported range by my monitor also. Thanks.
