Detonator Driver for XP...

Is the Detonator xp driver the same as Detonator 4 Version 21.85? I am a Geforce 3 newbie and want to make sure I have the best driver avail.

I would have to look at the xp driver and where you are getting it from. Probably! The Detonater's a re nvidia reference drivers, and all reference drivers will work with nvidia based video cards. Do a search in the video forum and you will come up with a lot of answers to your questions about what drivers to use i personally use the 21.85. Have tried em all and all work equally well for me, I have to benchmark em to tell any difference.

21.85 sounds right. However, be cautious when using these. I've found that I actually had to downgrade to really old win2k drivers to get the best mix of games working. Civ3 was just atrociously slow until I downgraded quite a bit. DAoC only need to have drivers downgraded a little.
