Seriously....come on where are the win2k drivers? All the reported problems that these are suppossed to fix are 3x what they are on win98 on win2k.

:p

Maybe these ones will fix the Apollo Pro 133A/KX133/KT133 compatibility and some other issues while maintaining the speed of 6.18 release...

Someone try these out so I won't have to :)

No problems here with them.

I've run through some Q3 benches, played in UT for about an hour or so(switching between D3D and OGl, S3TC still works;)), and used several other applications and not a single hitch so far.

Actually 3d chipset has been very slow on all of the recent driver releases, ever since the first 6's.

These 6.26 are really great! They took care of the speed and stuttering problem in UT and the polygon-through-wall issues in Q3 are also fixed.

anyone tried using these with rogue spear in win98 or winme? in win98 i get total trashed text using the 5.22 & up & in winme it's the samething but it would lockup my whole system in a few seconds, i have to reinstall & format my system 4 times in one day & don't want to try these drivers if it still has the same effect in rogue spear.

With 6.18 I was getting tearing in Q3A, sometimes quite bad. I don't seem to have them anymore. Very slight fps performance drop i.e 0.5 fps across the board. Happier with these drivers.

my winME shuts down just fine with 6.18 and I will grab the 6.26 when i get home and see if it speeds up my UT and my NFS5, and the oh-so-rediculously-choppy motocross madness 2. I have an A7V and have never had any stability problems with the 6.18s, and I'm building a kt7 system for my little brother and the 6.18s are running fine on his too. Both have Asus V7100 pures in them. Lets see some benchmarks on those 6.26s!

These drivers fixed the stuttering in UT and other Unreal based games, but D3D performance on the whole is down slightly from v5.32. Opengl is on par with v6.18 though.

I wonder if this will help my problem with installing them on WinME. Read my other thread about it... I've been having some trouble.

This one fixed all my problems in WinME... no more window resizing, no more NVDISP.DRV crashes and best of all no lockups.

And what shutdown bug? Shuts down fine.

Aha! I also had the NVDISP.DRV crashes. Got so annoying i switched to the 5x drivers.
